Pre/post natal policy

PRENATAL CLIENTS:

To continue practicing Pilates during pregnancy, you must have attended at least 6 classes at our studio prior to becoming pregnant.

The next steps are as follows:

  • Obtain approval from your doctor confirming that Pilates is a safe option for you during pregnancy.

  • Schedule and complete a 1-on-1 session to review prenatal modifications before returning to group classes.

  • After completing your private session, you may join All-Levels or Foundations classes with Julia only.

Please note: Advanced and Jumpboard classes are not permitted during pregnancy.

POSTNATAL CLIENTS:

If you are recently postpartum (less than 6 months), you must first receive permission from your doctor to start pilates before joining our All-Levels or Foundations group Reformer classes again. All-Levels or Foundations classes are highly recommended first, before joining a Jumpboard or Advanced class.

If you are experiencing any postnatal conditions or if you are recently postpartum (less than 6 months), we highly suggest booking a 1on1 session to learn modifications that are recommended for you before joining a group reformer class.

This postnatal 1on1 session can be scheduled by reaching out via email, and is at the same cost as a group reformer class ($40).
